Can I try it first?
Yes. Slowrite includes a 14-day trial with every feature. After the trial you can still read and export your writing; activate a license to keep writing.
What if I switch computers?
On the old computer, open Settings → License and choose “Deactivate this computer”, then paste the same key on the new one.
What happens after a year?
The version you have keeps working. New versions released within the year are free; later versions need a renewal to download.
